It wasn’t until a few days ago – when the status of the trademark changed – that we learned the IP even exists. As it turns out, Bryan has had the IP ‘Threadworlds’ trademarked since last July. Mike’s project is still under wraps (it’s still unclear if he’s even working on anything), but Bryan’s project looks to have unexpectedly leaked out. With the four members of the Korra staff hard at work on ‘Korra 2.0’s’ production, what are Avatar’s co-creators up to? The project has nothing to do with the Avatar universe, rather its name stems from the staff member’s connection to the universe. Since Bryan Konietzko and Mike DiMartino peacefully split, we’ve learned that members of the Korra staff have come together to create a “project” of their own currently dubbed ‘Korra 2.0’. Update (7/6/15): Bryan Konietzko has confirmed that Threadworlds is a five-volume graphic novel – not a television series.
